Do you use the Normal GOAT mode? If so, which 4 wheel mode do you select?
I’ve noticed that sometimes the Bronco selects 2H. Other times it selects 4A.
Which settings do you use for daily street driving?

Same.

Also... I have never had the "Normal" GOAT mode select 4A for me. I can override the default setting and select 4A if I want to... but it has never selected 4A automatically. So... that's.. interesting that @CrystalRedTintCoat's vehicle does that.

2H for normal driving. 4A for slick conditions (rain and snow). 4H if roads completely covered in snow. That’s where the fun starts.

Like others have stated,

2H all the time unless it's raining bad, snowy conditions, or ice on the roads. Then I switch it to 4A. This year, I've used 4H to get out of heavy snow fall when the wheels began spinning.

Turns out if you depart from another GOAT mode that uses 4A (eg: Slippery, Sport, Sand) and go to Normal, it’ll stay in 4A. In other words, just selecting Normal does not guarantee 2H. Sometimes you’ll have to manually choose 2H if you were in a previous GOAT mode that uses 4A.

You figured it out.

Now, riddle me this, batman: why does it remember 2a or 4a, but not which mode we were in? Huh?

Doesn’t it ask you each time you start up the rig if you want to keep the same mode as before? I’ll go test this and see what the default answer is when you don’t respond.

Yes, it does. The point is, why should we have to fill out a questionaire every time we start up the vehicle? Just leave it where it was, Ford. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I didn't know that there was a speed limit in 4A. I drive in Sport mode often which sets 4A by default. Is there a way to run in Sport on 2H?

Mine stays in 2H on sport mode, at least I think it does (will verify that tomorrow)I have heard others say what you’re saying though. For clarification ford doesn’t mention a high speed in 4H but the article I linked said the speed. ( only because it can damage parts) have you tried to put it in 2H in sport mode?
