Ford just kept screwing things up too bad - I couldn't take the punches any more. Tonight, I pulled the trigger - I traded in my 2016 Ecoboost Mustang for a 2021 Chevy ZR2 Colorado Crew Cab. They made it such a sweet deal, it was hard to pass up .. employee pricing, plus $1000 cash back, AND another $1000 off because I'm a Costco member... so it ended up coming out over $10k less than the Bronco I was planning on getting. It's bittersweet - I'm excited to get this new truck (I've NEVER owned a Chevy before).. but I'm sad that Ford created such a negative experience that pushed me to this point .. I hope you guys all end up enjoying your Broncos when you end up getting them, and I hope Ford figures this process out to avoid more frustrations, missed promises, disappointment and damage to their customer loyalty. I realized hoe unhealthy this whole experience has been - the ups and downs, the anger, disappointment, frustration, etc - I couldn't take any more.

Ugh , totally understand.

1....maybe two years back, one of the guys dropped out and bought a Jeep, which of course , we blew him some good natured crap about it ...... I believe it was going to be a "bridge vehicle" for him, a placeholder until the Bronco was in full production and the bugs worked out, etc etc.

Looking back at that, he's been out doing Jeep things all this while , while I/we have been driving the holy fuck out of this keyboard.

At this point, for me, I want the Bronco and will wait and am to invested in the process. I don't see the point/value in buying a car for 9 - 12 months. Now, if it were a year or 3 back ...I'd get a 4Runner or something and go about my life until 2024-ish when it was paid off.

Enjoy , my man! I bet it was a tough decision to make.

Cool, nice truck. I like the look of that front bumper over the other ZR2 models. Wish it came in a manual though.

Good for you. It’s nuts I keep seeing people go for the ZR2 over the gladiator.
That Gladiator is a love/hate thing.

I think it's ugly AF.

Congrats on your new chevy.

I hope you had a 3rd hour rez or better, so I can move up a spot ?
I want a Bronco, not just something new to scratch an itch. I'm not going to be distracted by the bright/shiny offerings to be had elsewhere.

I don't need a special vehicle for work so I can wait and I'm just not a Chevy person. Enjoy your new truck! Year end is the best time to buy a new vehicle.
