Tracker Saturday afternoon. But I woke up to an email this morning.

I know that there are many things that can happen between now and our projected build week. Most importantly, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with friends and family. Enjoy them, none of us are guaranteed time.

In the interest of helping all of us out and to, hopefully, give a bit of a resource to look to, I offer the following important threads that I have found helpful as we move closer to our actually build week, blend date, and then a shipment, delivery to our respective dealer, and then off to our first ride with our new Broncos. My goal is to provide a resource, reduce our need to search and, most selfishly, avoid the inevitable question asked that has already been answered and could have been found with a search. I received my build date email November 18th for January 10th. Reserved day 2, original order January 20th, updated order in Oct. Base, EG, manual. No frills.

They do not look for the type of items on the OCD. Someone posted a copy of the PDI on here; pretty basic.

Keep in mind...most of the inspection items are repetitive issues.

I figured as much. This is Chapman Ford. They've been great so far otherwise. Guess I'll have to see if my wife can sweet talk them into checking off at least a few of these things at delivery otherwise I'll look for some of the more obvious ones myself before we leave.

yikes just got an email from ford on my order, didn't even want to open it knowing it was going to be a build date changed, turns out they finally sent me a change in build date from 12/20 to 1/10 lol. pheewww!!!! still holding onto hope for 1/10

I was also just bumped from 12/20 to 1/10, officially notified by Ford email mere hours before the previously scheduled build week was going to begin.

But I saw the production delay over three weeks ago in the Ford backdoor.

Take-away?

Don't expect Ford's emails to be even close to timely in providing information on delays... They clearly are not making it a priority to keep customers intentionally informed.

Should I expect even a 50% chance that they keep the 1/10 build week?
