Well to be fair, the majority of the info a lot of us have we are going out of their way to get, it's not something Ford is willingly sending to us. The exception to this is the shipping update emails that only some people have gotten. Regardless, the communication has been pretty terrible.

I'd bet the reason your dealer won't let you buy one off the lot is becuase Ford is kind of cracking down on name matching. So if you bought one that wasn't your order, then their name match percentage would go down, and they'd get less allocations potentially. I guess this is the unfortunate side affect of Ford trying to make sure dealers don't screw people out of orders.

Mine was built 36 days ago. It’s 20 miles from me.

Those Ford emails and estimated delivery windows are automatically generated by a computer. They are rarely ever correct. I stopped paying attention to them.

It should be moving much quicker than it is. There’s nothing coming off the assembly line and it’s back up to 595.

Dealership just called to tell me they have an OBX that someone backed out of it I want it... With an ADM. The kicker? I just checked the window sticker and the blend date is a full 3 weeks after our build week.
