Is anyone else noticing their alternator shield / plastic surround rubbing on the coolant hose for the oil cooler? Was poking around my engine bay and noticed that there is definitely some contact being made at times. Anyone else notice this on theirs?

I'll get a look-see at mine after work and report back.

Update...no rub here.

Did a quick lunch hour fix. Had some extra EPDM type insulation strips laying around that's similar to what the factory put around other parts of the engine bay. Wedged it between the splash shield and the hose for some extra vibration dampening & protection.

I think the shield itself needs to be removed and reseated a bit forward, but that's another job to tackle at a future time. Hope this helps anyone else who may have noticed this on their 2.3!
