I've got an 21214 131135. 2,450 miles. When is it going to blow up? I've got places to be and need to plan for this, if it is likely to happen.
The motor trend article calculated the average mileage of 2,491 miles, so any moment.

Every time my wife calls me during the day, Im anticipating her telling me that her Bronco blew up and I need to come get her. Doesnt keep me up at night, but it stays in the back of my mind.

I've got 2k miles on my Bronco now and I check my fluids regularly. I woke up this morning and my coolant level is low. My engine oil I just checked is normal and I verified around the engine bay that there are no small leaks or soaked areas.

I will fill the reservoir back up today but after I do an exhaust test on the coolant. Seems odd to me that now after 2k miles my coolant dropped and yes my Bronco is in the window of suspect engines in that 2 month window. I'm hoping that maybe I can catch it before it fails as multiple failures have stated the coolant was gone.

Sure would help if @Ford Motor Company would address this? Cat got your Tongue Ford? Or was it a prancing horse that stole it?
Not their job. The people who take care of these types of things don't get paid to do customer relation bs. That's just how this industry works

This might be completely inaccurate but I assume at this point that the Ford's floor of analyst/statisticians have decided it's better to let this play out (ie let the problem motors present themselves) and they will fix them on an "as needed basis". I hope I'm wrong but will be shocked if that changes unfortunately.

Mine is about the same when it's been sitting overnight. Check it shortly after driving to see if it's any different. I know it's not using or loosing any because it's the same level over a month or so. I think they were slightly under-filled at the factory. I blame bean counting/pinny pinching! ;) I did stop by the parts counter at my local dealer and grabbed a gallon of Motorcraft yellow 50/50 to top off as needed. I used FordPass points to pay for it.

Same, I had to top mine off at 4500 miles because it was about the same level. It was full on delivery. I haven't checked since I filled it to see what the level is. Hoping it just burped some air.

Yeah I check it about twice a week always on cold and check it when hot maybe once every 2 weeks.

This is the first time it has actually showed low. I am going to still test it for peace of mind and then I can eliminate that from possible reasons why it suddenly went low.

Mine is approaching 4500 miles. It's nice to know they are similar here in KY. Probably the bi-polar, 4 seasons in a day weather we are blessed to have here! 😬
