I run 91 min in my 3.5 and get 21 ish around town. if i run 87 it drops to about 18Does everyone run 91 or 93 octane in the 2.7 in the F150s?
I need a nap. It took me way too long to figure out what was going on in this image.Me trying to stay out of boost so I can get 300 miles out a tank on my 4-door Sasquatch
Wow that's shockingly low to me.My Mustang's 2.3 gets 15mpg, this will be much worse
Think I saw a Rotopax accessory listed. Guess weāre going to need it.Hmm that tank size in the two door isnāt ideal. Going to be hard getting used to filling up more than once every two weeks like on my F-150 with the 36 gallon extended range tank.
My wifeās 14 wrangler sport was a 12-14 on the highway at best. Hope us Ford folks donāt morph into Jeep folks when they add 35 inch tires and all kinds of accessories and then wonder why their fuel economy has tanked. Smiles per gallon, folks, not miles per gallon.16.9... well... it could be worse.
i hope that Ecoboost sure is eco lol
Youāre doing something wrong then. Iām supercharged on a 17 5.0 with 750 horsepower and I get over twenty on the highway when driving normally. Driver mod?My Mustang's 2.3 gets 15mpg, this will be much worse
My wife fills her MKX 2.7TT with 87Does everyone run 91 or 93 octane in the 2.7 in the F150s?
20+ on the highway is easy, here in nyc itās stop and go.Youāre doing something wrong then. Iām supercharged on a 17 5.0 with 750 horsepower and I get over twenty on the highway when driving normally. Driver mod?
I remember there was a fuel capacity booster for the FJ in the aftermarket. It was installed under the rear seats.I had an FJ and got used to filling more often. It's a good opportunity to stretch your legs on long trips. Could be an issue when backcountry overlanding, but no doubt long range tanks will be available in the aftermarket.
