I'm in the same situation as well. I don't want to order an EcoDiesel Rubicon because it'll only be available with the four door and it'll be close to $60K. A first-hand experience with the death wobble is also giving me pause for considering a solid front axle vehicle as a primary car.Was one of the reasons I am steering away from the Jeep. The engine felt under powered and combined with poor fuel economy, I thought ford could do way better. Mid teens MPGs I can live with if I’m driving something with some serious giddy up.
I am not expecting the Badlands or Sasquatch configurations to be able to exceed 20 MPG on the highway, the 33"/35" tires plus the 4.7 differential gearing is going to kill highway mileage.
