Has anyone just had an upholstery shop move the buckles down to potentially help pull out some of the wave? Would like to see pics of more ‘23’s. Does look good.

Took delivery of a 2023 Badlands on Monday, and the soft top side windows are the least wavy I've ever seen on a new Bronco. Did I just get lucky? Anyone else taken delivery on a '23 and notice this? They'll probably get wavy as time passes anyhow, but still.

Holy cow! I hope Ford finally got the window ironed out (pun intended).

I'll see what I can find. I didn't take a bunch of close ups early on. It maybe wasn't AS tight as the new ones but it wasn't like how most complained about. I also have no leaks, snow or water and it has been thru many touchless car washes.

I don't have any skin in the game with a hard top. BUT... here are part numbers:
  • Right side: M2DZ-78501C22-DB
    • Replaced M2DZ-78501C22-DA
  • Left side: M2DZ-78501C23-DB
    • Replaced M2DZ-78501C23-DA
The problem is I can't tell through the parts system when the new parts replaced the old parts. For all I know the *-DA parts were pre-production components that were never put into production vehicles, and the *-DB parts were the only parts that were actually sold with the Bronco.

So those of you who currently have a soft top are going to need to post your part numbers from your tops along with your production date to try to figure this all out. Good luck/have fun. (y)

The windows look great, but the soft top still looks like a wet diaper. In the OP's ST, it looks like Ford doubled down on the wrinkly top. BesTop's Trektop you can bounce quarters off the top and windows.
And you sacrifice functionality and low cabin road noise in exchange for looks...

- Sincerely
The guy with the OEM soft top that regrets buying a Trektop

Look great compared to mine. I love my soft top. Haters gonna hate.
I actually like the soft top shape better than the MIC top. Hard top rear section just doesn’t look right. Not bad, proportions are just off a little.

It looks like the DA was replaced by the DB around June of 22. I see DA windows still available on the parts locator received as late as June by the stocking dealers.

There're some build date breaks and a couple of part number suffix changes but the catalogue doesn't really say if it's due to a specific design change or something else. The parts with RB have a suffix change to -DB.

You could argue, generally, a build date break would indicate a change but in this case it only relates to the tinted vinyl but the new number works for all of them back to the first production.

Rear -BA goes to a -BB and -DA goes to -DB.

Nice to see no wavy windows. I will say for sure that the newer the build dates the better the quality over all in the bronco. I have seen it first hand. My 23 blackdiamond is tighter over all than my wife's early 22 black diamond. Fit finish and rattle are way better in the later trucks. This is common on just about any new vehicle no matter what brand.
