Wow, I kind of hate it. But I also kind of like it. hahaha
It looks like it only sits 4 though, so not going to work. But it's cool to see so many thinking outside the box on the outdoor adventure and overland scene.

Another truck that really caught my eye is the Rivian...

I have one of these “crib midgets” and I’m still getting a 2 door. Got the wife’s blessing too. Though admittedly I’m going to be coming from a Mini so I’m actually gaining space
I'd do likewise if I only had 1. 3 changes things exponentially it seems.

Luckily that’s what the wife’s 3 row is for

In all honesty though, if I were you I would:

Go 4 door, roof rack with basket or box (depending on gear), buy a big (8 person) tent (love my 6 person from REI), and put the dog in the cargo area. If more space needed, you could get a hitch mounted basket for coolers and such.

Have you considered tying the kids to the roof and putting the dog in the backseat?

Truth be told, I HATE cargo basket style receivers. They work, but the kill departure angles, they rattle around and they get your stuff covered in filth. At least with a trailer everything could be stowed away. A rooftop box would work fine, except it can be a pain getting items up and down.

3 row what?
Durango. If taking the whole crew, we wouldn’t be going off road much so it works for what we would need. Bronco will be for me and my so. As he gets older to really get out into nature

My coworker loves her Durango. Your boy is going to love the Bronco. Hopefully it becomes his one day and dad gets a matching upgrade.

So I wasn’t too worried about the size of the Bronc, even though I am a 6-3, 305 lb., wide body.

My wife has an Explorer and I feel fairly comfortable in that and I thought that since the Bronco is built on the Ranger platform I would be good.

However this month’s Motor Trend put the Bronco in the compact SUV category. Is that really where it belongs?

I think so. It’s not a BIG SUV by any stretch of the imagination. With that said, the forum has a thread with a Ford employee who is a BIG dude and he fit in the Bronco easily. He was able to take photos of him standing next to it and sitting inside. Find that thread and you’ll see that you should be fine. The Bronco just doesn’t have much room for more than 4 people and a relatively small amount of gear though.

This is a silly poll. Go find something else that fits your requirements.

Thanks for the info. Do you remember what the thread was about or anything, to make it an easier search?

It is gonna be primarily my wife’s vehicle, but it will also be our family vehicle. However my kids are 8 & 4, hopefully we have some time before they need a lot of room.
