1. Ditch the reservation and wait for the new Raptor or all new 2022 Tundra?
2. Buy the Bronco and learn new methods to control my inevitable rage when I can't fit all my crap in it for a weekend in the woods?
3. Buy a Ranger and hate myself every time I look in the mirror?
4. Sell all my belongings and live like a Sasquatch alone in the forest?
Where's the voting option for:
5) The 4-door is plenty big
6) The 4-door is too big as it is
:)

I tried to warn Ford about this over two years ago. My Land Rover-loving soul was seeing Everest based prototypes running around and imagining the 4-door would be big enough to support a 3rd row, Defender 110 style. Honestly, they could have done it if it were a priority, but I expect they were hesitant to "cannibalize Explorer sales" or some such nonsense.

Since then I've come to peace with two rows being "right sized" for this vehicle, even if it eventually necessitates an old E series van in the lineup for all my troop transporting needs.

Yeah, would have been cool to have a third row with a pair of jump seats that could have been easily removed for some extra interior space.
Thanks for the info. Do you remember what the thread was about or anything, to make it an easier search?

It is gonna be primarily my wife’s vehicle, but it will also be our family vehicle. However my kids are 8 & 4, hopefully we have some time before they need a lot of room.

I think most of those voters went with option #4...

I can't be upset with the way they went, but holy hell there were options that would have blown my mind completely.

As I said, a raptor is in your future.

I've got a 4 month old with another planned, and a step 16 year old. Ideally I'd like to have a bronco + a full size truck (either f-150 or a cybertruck). They serve different purposes. Not gonna easily fit a full sheet of plywood in a bronco, nor tow a 30 foot trailer. But it will go down trails that the full size wouldn't even attempt. Different vehicles, different goals. But both useful.

Agreed. Hard to be too upset when you decide a Raptor is better suited for your family rather than a Bronco.

First World Problems.

I’m considering this route.

I found out a few days ago that you can no longer order a 2020. I was eyeing up the mid (801) package. May try to find 2019-2020 in 2021.

I’m curious when the 21s can be ordered with either of the new engines. That GT500 engine is supposedly a limited release and I’m sure it will cost a fortune.
