If that's the same black one we had in our group the clutch was already smoked at least once on the 10th. We had dry weather and were able to fly on that flat "forest service road" section in both the sport and full size. Manual was not a good choice for stop and go group driving like we were doing all day. Open, familiar trails, maybe but we were nose to tail most of the time.

Have to disagree with you on this. I think it is a fine video and the wear and tear you hear is pretty minimal and petty. Looks like an incredible event for Ford to put on just so their dealers can be psyched and well informed when they start selling Broncos. Also incredible that we will get to do the same at some point. I am really happy to see a manual available since that is what I will want to drive when I go there!Terrible video and soundtrack, but you get to listen to the transmission wear and tear at Offrodeo!Skip to 3:20 for all the "action"...

I'm amazed someone knows how to correct for vertical video by adding additional non-distracting video to either side. That media department is better than most. Also bet the soundtrack is basic Google license free stuff.

I believe the dark vehicle running in front of the one filming in this 50 minute video is a manual. I'm guessing it's inexperience but there are a number of places where it isn't nearly as smooth as the automatics on the same sections. One of the examples is at around 17:15 when they actually bounced backward starting up the hill

i didnt really hear anything in the video, maybe i just missed it with all the other noise going on. but I wouldnt be surprised if that clutch was shot. 1) how many different people are driving it a day? 2) it can sometimes be difficult to find the gears in a vehicle you arent used to and 3) how many people have asked to drive the manual but havent driven one in 15 years?
