Bump up to 364HP sounds fun. Worried what the drawbacks are

As long as you don’t drive it like a teenager shouldn’t have any issues. I’ve ran a jb4 for two years on a car before and never had a issue with it. Go to the f150 forums and search jb4 lots of people using that, this is basically same thing.

I was thinking the same. I thought the trans was only rated to 450 lb ft or something like that. This tune shows 450 at the wheels which would be even more at the trans input shaft. 🧐

I'll be looking forward to hearing whether this gets rid of the launch nerf and what, if anything, pays the price for 500 torque from a standstill. My gut tells me it's the 4A transfer case clutch and I certainly would tread carefully in 4A with a tune until we figure out how stout it is. Despite the 10R60 disappointment, it's probably going to be fine in the Bronco due to the lame tow rating.

Does this stay installed or do you tune it and remove the box?

For People worrying about tuning an ecoboost-

I had a 2013 SHO with a Livernois tune on it-they where good till they weren't with the community.

Anyways I had the car tuned with about 7K miles on it and never took it off and ran it to 100K before I sold it with the expectation that my Bronco would come in July...LOL...

I never had any issues with the engine-I had the typical 1st gen Ecoboost issue with the 3.5L with the noisy startup with the timing chains that went away after a minute or two, but never had any drive train issues outside of a service advancedtrac warning that would pop up and clear up with a restart. Didn't grenade the transmission or PTU, which was infamous on FWD/AWD Ford products.

It was a mild tune that made a 4000K+ Sedan run a sub 13 second 1/4 mile. I didn't beat the car either-once in a while I'd shut the advancedtrac/traction control off at a light and get on it...it had a ton of torque off the line and was most likely the fastest car I've owned (had a 2006 Mustang GT prior to the SHO)

Only downside was I had to run 93 in it all the time-that got expensive. I thought I'd be able to enjoy low gas prices in the bronco, but I appears that I'll be paying roughly what I was paying for 93 in the SHO last year LOL.

I emailed them and sent them a link to this post.

We need more info
It says it has 7 different maps My guess is it has a 87oct Eco, Tow, Race, Then same for the 93oct then a stock mode.

Need more dyno #s (I'm betting the #s above are 93oct Race)

I have a badlands so no Sport mode I would love to have a 87oct race/sport option this may give it to me.

If your running the 2.7, which is twin turbo'd. I would run nothing but premium, I have seen mine hit 18-19 psi spikes. At that level, you need premium gas, a Subaru Sti EJ257 motor runs 16lbs boost and requires premium. Don't skimp or you might find yourself with some nasty lean detention, and needing a new engine. Rule of thumb, if it has forced induction, good to go with premium with anything over 10PSI imo.

The 600 newton-Meter rating for the 10R60 is a "nominal" rating which generally means a steady state rating and not necessarily a maximum rating. Of course one is never sure what that actually means for any transmission since each is setup by the engineers for the specific application.

I have yet to see the transmission specs confirmed. I seriously doubt the transmission on the most worthy 4X4 Ford has built is that marginal. Even if it's a 10R-60, has anyone actually confirmed it doesn't have beefed up components? Does anyone even know where the weak link is? At this point it seems like all speculation by us internet engineers.
