Carvana offer was 40k for my 21 4 dr Badlands 2.7/Lux with 33k miles.
Carmax said they "need to see the vehicle" to make an offer.
I guess the party is over for those great offers of just 2 years ago.

Seems that everyone on this board understands the dealer's business better than the dealers themselves. Just because the audience here views ADM as sacrilege does not mean that they can't find a customer willing to pay $5k-$7k 2-3 months down the road.

I have zero sympathy for anybody that's bummed about resell value. For someone like me that searched heaven and earth for a good deal on my Bronco, I don't appreciate people taking advantage of others to make a buck.

Edit: I bought my Bronco with no intent to resell. I don't care what the value of it is, it's worth more than that to me

Car market in general is tanking due to higher interest and over the top supply (finally caught up).

You won't get what you want because the dealerships can't move what they have.

If you like your Bronco why care about resell value? Just did a quick search and saw you previously posted in this forum:

"They offered me 30 for my FJ and Carvana offered 34......on the other hand Ive heard some say they got better offers from CarMax.........moral of the story - well, I'm not sure there is one."

Carvana offer was 40k for my 21 4 dr Badlands 2.7/Lux with 33k miles.
Carmax said they "need to see the vehicle" to make an offer.

I got 43k a year ago in trade for my JLUR that had an MSRP of 47k and I paid more like 42k.

That was on my badsquatch order at msrp (with pp)

At the time, many people couldn’t get ordered broncos for msrp.

I’d have paid 20k adm if they gave me 63k for me jeep - prices go up, prices go down, it all basically ends the same unless someone gets impatient ;)

So back in May/June, I was hunting for a 2dr red low-tier model. Dealer a few miles out had an OBX that would have fit the bill nicely, but they were stuck on a 10k ADM

That lil red OBX is still sitting there. So maybe they will find someone willing, but I think the days of disposable income, horrid availability and high ADMs are mostly over for the time being. At least until the next disaster strikes

No one is saying a dealer can’t find a moron to pay a stupid mark up, people are saying the over paying for Broncos from national dealers seems to be over. Kinda wish I took the offers when I had them. Ah well.

Back in September, I found a Wildtrak that was $10K over MSRP. I offered $1K over MSRP, asked $55K for my Everglades trade-in, guaranteed a stellar review when the Ford survey came in, and they accepted. Paid the difference on the spot, and got the title in the mail a few weeks ago.

At this point, it seems like dealers are negotiating (California).

I'm pretty sure being almost 3 years old with over 30k miles has everything to do with that.

Have no intention of getting rid of mine. The days of over sticker are coming to an end. The banks are not going to allow people to be upside down $10,000 off the lot, not to mention as said above, supply and demand have equaled out. My local dealer has ADM on the ones one the lot and they're sitting there...
