Ahh, got ya, cause you were quoting a comment about ARB's temporary mount.

Right now i'm designing it off a 2.3L but once our prototype comes in we'll see if if it fits a 2.7L and what modifications we need to make on it. Eventually we'll have it fitting both engines

Are you looking at the same location as the ARB photo or something else?

Quick update... our prototype will be here Thursday next week so we'll see how much time I have to test fit it. We're leaving for an off-road event Friday morning so it's a bit tight on time. But i'll try and mount it up and snap a few photos

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I spotted this at SEMA at the outdoor ford performance displays.

It appears to be an ARB dual compressor mounted in the 2.7 engine bay and fully functional. Looks like the control module is mounted to the side above the washer fill. I didn't get the chance to ask anyone about the truck since they were busy packing up

20 lashes for not getting a photo of the mount!

It looks like another install there. The drivetrain control module doesn't appear to be mounted to anything, and it's covering the surge tank cap.

Hows it mounted? Did you get a look? The only metal anywhere near that spot is the side of the fender, and I dont see any bolts.

It's hard to see from my pic without zooming on the high res one but the control module is looks like its bolted to something here. I don't have my bronco yet so I can only speculate.

Agreed, that looks bolted up to me. I find it hard to believe that Ford has multiple vehicles with the ARB in them just sitting there not attached to anything. In the three different vehicles I have seen its all set up in the same position, they must have made some kinda bracket.

You might be right. I would consider that a very temporary solution.

from your pic it looks like they used this bolt. I think bending up some metal and making a simple mount for the module wont be too hard, hopefully would be part of the same bracket as the ARB one.

I'm holding out for the ARB mount due out this summer. I was pretty turned off by the threat to sue by your vendor.

This is the "nicest" setup I've seen yet. Grimm Offroad.
