My sons and I installed an ARB twin into my Braptor today. I wanted to keep it as hidden as possible and came up with this install. I think it turned out pretty well.

Parts used:
- DV8 compressor/storage bin
- ARB air chuck
- 3/8” push-lock air lines and fittings
- Dominion Off-road air-coupler bracket
- Expedition Essentials ARB wiring harness extension

I installed the compressor into the DV8 storage bin. I then drilled a hole in the side and routed the air hose out the exterior wall of the bin using a bulkhead fitting. I drilled two holes and installed rivnuts into the frame rail just next to the hitch. Ran the air line down the hitch support to the coupler.

Did you wire the ARB to one of your Aux switches?

Yup. Ran the wiring harness to the front under the car using an Expedition Essentials harness. Wired the trigger switch to upfitter 5. Works quite well.

i also have the factory tailgate slide out, which insulates the noise pretty well

With your first picture sideways, I was trying to figure out what sidewall of the Bronco you mounted it on :ROFLMAO:

Looks great - Seems very functional yet tucked away.

Edit: Thanks for rotating the picture :)

I didn't know DV8 made a storage bin? Is it bigger/deeper. Its metal, so no melting plastic? My concern when considering that location was about air supply, both for the pump, and for cooling, those get pretty hot (of course, the engine bay is pretty hot, as well). How did you solve heat/ventilation issues?

It is both bigger and deeper. Additionally, with the ford slide out tailgate, the area above this is open to the air. I have a good inch or so of free space across the entirety of the floor. Should be plenty to cool it.

Also beneficial, there isn't a muffler directly below this box on the Raptor - so the only heat generated back there is from this compressor.

Very clean install! well done

If I hadn't already mounted in the engine bay, I'd really be considering copying you

how do you keep the water out due to the mounting holes of the compressor?

I am planning on getting this box installed it is much deeper. Much more space. I am putting my lecteo ice and lighting control, solar battery charger etc in the box.

i use a lithium battery with solar panel connection through the tailgate. This runs a 1500watt inverter, and my fridge, and a few other items. My alternator also charges the 100ah lithium battery. Soon once I have it outfitted and not just a jumbled mess I will post.
