Installed an Autostop Eliminator on a 2022 Bronco Raptor yesterday. Purchased from CJ Pony Parts. Install went smooth and the autostop eliminator is working, however, there are some issues.

When starting up, the 3-tone Ford chime is different. It sounds like the old-style chime (Listen closely in the video). What’s even more strange is that if you turn the vehicle off and start again, the chime reverts back to the original style.

Another issue is that when the front seat passenger opened their door (Vehicle in park)
the Bronco honked twice. I was sitting in the driver’s seat with my door shut. Is this normal? The horn honked twice, but the honks were separated more. It wasn’t a quick two honks it was two separated longer honks.

Other than these issues noticed so far, the autostop has worked splendidly. It is so nice not having to press the button every time you start. I just counted, and today alone, I would’ve had to press it 8 times today!

I think most of us turn off the auto start/stop using forscan — is that not possible on the raptor?

It’s probably possible. I just wanted a solution that didn’t involve changing the programming of the vehicle. This is just plug-and-play.

I feel like I'd rather push a button than have the car honk every time a passenger opened the door. Just sayin'...

I wouldn't use that eliminator. The only time it should honk twice is when engine running and fob not detected closing any door. Something is not right with that plug n play.

The auto stop eliminator has worked great for over a year now on my badlands with no issues. Isn't that the sound it makes when the car starts and the doors are open?

It the sound it makes when key fob is outside the vehicle and any of the doors close to include tailgate while engine is running.

Just use forscan man. Free for the first couple months and you can always reset back to factory later.

I have been using the Eliminator for 10 months as well. Those things you mention are not because of the Eliminator, one has nothing to do with the other.

Put mine in the day I picked up my Badsquatch, works like a charm.

Have you changed anything else?

If I'm not mistaken, you can actually turn this off in the settings. BRaptor only. Check Ken Bjonnes / Palm Beach Dyno video. He got his this week and noticed that in the menu options.

There are videos by Ford techs describing how these things interfere with the data bus running across these wires. It’s garbage. Send it back.

I've had one on 22 Badlands Sas for several months. Has worked flawlessly.
