Installed an Autostop Eliminator on a 2022 Bronco Raptor yesterday. Purchased from CJ Pony Parts. Install went smooth and the autostop eliminator is working, however, there are some issues.
When starting up, the 3-tone Ford chime is different. It sounds like the old-style chime (Listen closely in the video). What’s even more strange is that if you turn the vehicle off and start again, the chime reverts back to the original style.
Another issue is that when the front seat passenger opened their door (Vehicle in park)
the Bronco honked twice. I was sitting in the driver’s seat with my door shut. Is this normal? The horn honked twice, but the honks were separated more. It wasn’t a quick two honks it was two separated longer honks.
Other than these issues noticed so far, the autostop has worked splendidly. It is so nice not having to press the button every time you start. I just counted, and today alone, I would’ve had to press it 8 times today!
