Not sure if this has been asked yet but,. Why is the difference in price for Base model 4 door vs 2 door almost 5k? The other trims seem to only be around 2.5k price difference. ?
Auto trans 2500 ?

Currently my only hang up on the base is the Copilot 360 technology, Ford’s website says the base has it but the trim chart says it’s only part of the mid package. I don’t want to have to go up to Big Bend just for that, but that’s probably the biggest feature set for me. Anyone have any confirmation on what Copilot 360 on the base entails?

I just quickly googled Copilot 360 and from what I saw, it sounds like that is a name for a few different features...

Pre-Collision
Auto-High Beams
Cross Traffic Alert
Rear View Camera

those features are what you do not get until you upgrade to Mid+.. so not sure what Copilot 360 is without the "pilot" part?

My Base will be pretty basic. Automatic transmission is a must. Undecided about upgrading to the 2.7 engine. The 2.3 will probably be powerful enough for the drive "home" to Pittsburgh several times a year and the trail roads I plan to drive.

I think it only gets Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.

All this chat about what the base doesn't have... I have been stuck with a Wrangler configurator for years telling me I have to add air conditioning and cruise control ?
I fully agree, unless we’re talking mechanical, 95% of non-mechanical options above base on the Bronco are frivolities and completely unnecessary.

The base truck is extraordinarily non base.

Yep, totally agree. I'm super pumped with what we're getting, miles ahead of what I'd expect of base vehicle honestly. Sure there are a few options I want to tick as far the suspension/drive-train goes.. but honestly a bare bones base model is a killer canvas to start with. Can't wait til Spring!

I would speculate the out the door price on a base+ Sasquatch to be around 38,000 (including necessary upgrades, destination, tax, title, tags).

There's another post here that seems to say you can't add the V6 to the base 2 door. Which has basically killed a lot of our base dreams. Can anyone confirm this? What a shameful performance by Ford in artificial options games.

I’m out if this is the case, it’s not worth it at a $8k premium. Signficantly cheaper to build it yourself at that point.

I was guessing $36,000 with Sasquatch and the auto... but just a guess

I’m hoping the manual becomes available on the sas, ASSUMING it’s not a Chinese built trans.

I think I would pay about $5k max, at that point I can do steeper than factory gears, locker(rear only have no need for front), tires(better than Sasquatch tires - I dislike the Goodyear Wranglers), rims and slight lift for the same price.
