True. I was thinking the 2 door since that's what I reserved. It's kinda annoying Ford has set this up. If you go up to the big bend the 4 door doesn't get the auto. It's like Ford is messing with each trim level so that we can't be completely satisfied.
Oh my bad. I should’ve figured you meant the 2 door. And yea the configurations on a couple of trims are whacky. You would think the auto being standard would start on the Big Bend but I guess that’s too reasonable. I’m curious to see if the manual is even an option for the Base 4 door.

I forget, but you can't one without the other so no matter what it will be $3500 for a 2.7
if you cant get one without the other and other (being automatic) has a separate price than the cost of 2.7 isn't $3500 but more

as stated above. Some trims come standard w/ automatic so you are only paying for the 2.7, but if you get 2 a door base or some other trim where the auto is not included you are paying $3500 for the 2.7 which is for the auto and 2.7. They are priced separate for where you only need the 2.7 because you pick a trim w/ the auto standard already

ah yea, delay in seeing those. Ok so with 4 door base I'm looking at 1900 for 2.7 which includes the automatic that comes with the base. Not bad.

Yep. I wanted the 2 door base, but considering a 4 door base w/ a 2.7 won't be that much more than the 2 door after spending the $3500 I might just get the 4 door

I think I like the look of the 2 door more. But we plan to do overlanding with a maiden trip to Nova Scotia (from NY) so we'll need all the space we can get.

I wouldn't say not much more as you still have a $4500 difference in MSRP pricing an no hardtop on the 4dr.

Matching each one you still have a $3700 difference with hard top, 2.7L, and Auto Trans.

If you go by the basic prices it's a $3100 difference. 2 door w/ 2.7 would be $32k and 4 door w/ 2.7 would be $35,100 w/ no hardtop, but I get your point. Wish Ford didn't have all these little hidden changes within trims.

I have reserved a base model 4 door Bronco.
I am either getting Velocity blue or Antimater blue w/ Sasquatch package and 2.7 engine.
Hard top as well.
Anyone else ordering a Base model ?

Funny that they used what looks like a photo of a Base Model (based on the grill) to advertise the locking diffs when the Base doesn't come with any.

Has is been confirmed if the advanced transfer case is an option on the Base?

If so, I'm starting to think that a Base, 6/speed, the 4.46 gears and the ATC ( if available) and a rear ARB locker on some 33"s would get me +90% of the way to a Sasquatch, for over $3,500 less.
$3.5k is a lot of cheddar.
