Theres some practicality choices some may have to make. If you’re driving on the interstate for three hours round trip everyday to the office do you want 35” mud tires? Depends on your weekend uses or how much you love the look i guess.

They’re all daily drivers and they’re all capable of a lot of offroading when it comes down to it. Some just a lot more extreme than others. These are badass vehicles from base to Badlands.

Ive never dailyed any big tires (or an SUV) before honestly. How bad is it to daily with 35" tires? Would the A/S 33''s in actuality be any better? Is it noise that's the issue.

The noise isn’t as bad as the lane wandering and rougher ride with bigger tires IMO

I thought the bigger the tires the more compliant and comfortable. Is it because of the compound of the tire?

Im sure this thing with long travel suspension would be pretty plush. I mean i daily my RS, and that is a stiff ride.

I say “go big or go home” get what you want. My FE is my DD, mall show stopper, baby in the back seat, grocery getter first edition!!

I like having piece of mind I can off-road or hit the desert when I want. Also a huge surfer so plenty of board storage options.

The bronco won’t be a flex in my hood. surrounding neighbors- Bentley SUV, Lambo Urus, raptors, g wagons.

Yea, I'm pretty nervous about the badlands price optioned out (2.7L, Sasquatch, hardtop, min high package). If it is too much more than the wildtrak, I'll switch my reservation to a wildtrak and just opt for leather seats. Sucks I wont be able to get the rubber floor or disconnecting sway bar or the steel bumpers, but could do it in the future. I really don't want to pay over 55k.

I live right now in Montclair, Essex county. Work in NY and on most weekends go to island state beach park. My buddy has a Jeep with the buggy pass, so i drive my RS to the parking lot, throw my stuff in his 90's Jeep, and we ride on the beach.
I'm right next door in Nutley. I had thought beach driving was restricted to the off season only? That's is cool if you can also do it in the summer. I'll have to try it some time. You should also look up the 'Trans NJ Trail' It's not much...mostly a scenic drive with some gravel and dirt roads but it is still fun and there aren't many options in NJ. It starts at High Point State Park and goes all the way to Cape May but you can just do a few sections at a time if you want or ca p along the way and do the entire thing in 2-3 days

Hey neighbor. Ya we're super close. I go to Petracco's deli all the time.

As for the beach riding, island state park has passes for beach bugging and sports fishing. I believe its $250 for the year, but totally worth it. You can drive right onto the beach, get all this room to yourself. The beach there is also limited so it doesn't over crowd. So they typically close / restrict access from 10am to 12pm, but if you have the buggy pass it is normally still open since you go on different sections.

I drive a low slung 2wd car down miles of gravel every day, all year round, and have taken it through mud and snow that people with 4wd trucks turned away from. The Sport with some AWD and better ground clearance will have no problem going places most people wouldn't dare to go.

The idea that an actual Bronco would be remotely necessary for that is silly. Some decent tires and liberal application of the throttle will take you a lot farther than most people think.
Growing up, my father used to prove that quite a bit in an avocado green Ford Pinto station wagon! Hunting, fishing you name it, that car got us a lot of places others avoided.

I drive 37 KO2 nearly everyday it’s perfectly comfortable going to the grocery store or an impromptu 800 mile trip.

I have no lane wandering the other poster mentioned, and being KO2s they ride quiet and comfortably.

I run no lift on my SUV so that may make a difference depending on amount of lift.

First Edition. I wouldn't dare be seen at the Starbucks drive through with anything less.

I reserved the big bend, and will probably upgrade to the mid package. I'm in the same boat - most off roading I do is getting to a sketchy campground or kayak site. I just prefer boxy style suvs aesthetically and they're becoming few and far between. Been waiting for this for awhile.
Same.

It isn't the diameter of the tire that creates noise, it's the tread pattern. I'm sure you can find a nice tight all-season in 37 that would be quieter than some bogger treaded 31.

33 or smaller tire would be better. And if you plan to daily drive, do yourself a favor and get all-terrain tires rather than mud tires. I ran all terrains on my CJs for years and they drove decent on road. And I off-roaded with them as well.

On the other hand, the mud tires on my TJ (it came with them) sing on the pavement and give a rougher more squirrel ride. Even my friend's new Wrangler with mud tires rides rough and noisy.

I say buy a hammer if you actually will use it to drive nails. Why buy a hammer when it will never be used. Buy something with key attributes you will actually use.

Considering one of these for a promotional/company car for our new WNC mountain lifestyle brand, Big Weekend. Wish ford would offer the high package a little further down trim levels to the Black Diamond. Old school steel wheels, no fuss vinyl seats + cool 360 camera tech of the high package. That would get us down some of the more secluded forest service roads In style. And would have to worry about the seat after taking a dip in the swimming holes. Thrilled with this new Bronco!
