Perfectly sane, wait it out and get what you want.
I'm kind of wishing I'd done this and not removed the MIC, although there are arguments for the soft top depending on where you live, IMO. If I'd have kept the MIC an tow, I'm sure I'd have gotten a build date by now regardless, but who knows. I could have waited a few more months....I let the collective anxiety of many on this board influence me.No, if you’re not in a hurry, patience will pay off. I was told to take off MIC, tow, etc so that my order would get in sooner but I wouldn’t settle for less. I finally have blend date and window sticker for the exact build I want.
I don't think so, but it brings up a thought I've had. That being, has anyone at the time of delivery had the dealer have a Bronco on the lot that they ended up liking more than the one he/she ordered (say a 2 door vs a 4 door) and worked out a swap before purchase.
If they have the Base on hand before your Wildtrak comes in, make a deal to buy the Base, then when your Wildtrak comes in, trade it back to the dealership for your Wildtrak
I don't think most people here realize how little difference there is between the WT with the mid and a Base Sasquatch 2.7. You're not getting much for the extra $8k(?).Yes, you are absolutely out of your mind.
You cannot beat the value of a Base!
@Cheshire , you tell him!
I pretty much agree.I don't think most people here realize how little difference there is between the WT with the mid and a Base Sasquatch 2.7. You're not getting much for the extra $8k(?).
