Dealership takes Bronco 1 week before delivery

The bronco that was ordered was taken by the owner of the dealership 1 week prior to arrival. I have already put my complaints in to ford to no avail. The rep from ford told me ultimately it’s in the dealerships hands and they can do that. Has this happened to anyone else on her? The original order date was 18 months ago and it was built on 3/23/22.

These Ford dealers are real scum. Hearing this stuff non stop really gives me pause to actually buy a Bronco and cancel my order and just wait till all this hype and crap is behind us in like 23 or 24

“The bronco that was ordered“??? Who’s Bronco are you referring to since you didn’t say they took your Bronco. Did you order this or did the dealer take A Bronco that you thought was coming and you’d be able to purchase?

Reservation date, order date, build date, vin#, etc.? What agreement did you have with the dealer? What do you have in writing? Purchase order, email, text, etc. What communication from Ford do you have?
Did the dealer contact you and tell you they wouldn’t sell you your reserved Bronco?

Here is the info not bs the dealership offered me $3100 and to order another one from them I respectfully declined to order another one.

Wtf...Ford dealers are the reason I’ll stop buying Fords. We only deal with a dealer that’s 3 hours away from us and we live south of ATL in metro area. So we have plenty to pick from and over the years I’ve tried, but they’re just fu@king awful. Granted last car we purchased from our current dealer was in 2019 so things may have changed but we currently have base sas and raptor ordered with them (not OP’s dealer).

And Ford won’t do sh!t because Akins Ford is a huge volume dealer.

That absolutely sucks. I'm not prone to violence but my mind would be racing with a way to extract revenge on the dealer. My initial thoughts would be to have my wife's dad make a phone call and send in some of his ex Marine/CIA mercenary buddies but that might be too harsh.

I'd be willing to spend a lot of money on legal fees and get a local news station to also run a story.
