So, I ordered M2DZ-11654-DA some time ago and haven't gotten around to installing the lights or switch. Currently, I have no fogs due to the mod bumper and do have issues with the headlamps coming on after shutting the vehicle off. Is the -DA also affected by the headlamp issue? If I were to order the -DC, is it unaffected?

I'm looking to do the same but I have blind spot, so why in the description of the part does it say without blind spot warning????

Description:
Bronco. With fog lamps. Without blind spot warning
Are you sure it says blind spot? Some like mine have lights you can turn on the switches for those are on the headlight switch.

In my post under where is says description, that's taken right from the Ford website, that is why I was questioning the switch, I'm assuming Ford just messed up on their description. I have a WT (lux), it has all the light features on the headlight switch

That is strange I installed the dual (front and rear) switch. I wonder if since some like us have the light you can turn on if the signal for the blis indicator runs through the switch.

Did anyone happen to save the dummy plugs from the factory harness, and are you willing to sell them to me?

I think I am going to go another way and not connect my fog lights to the factory harness/switch. I thought I save my dummy plugs, and put them someplace safe, and now I can't find them. I guess they were too safe.

Outstanding info, this is exactly how I wired mine up
Unfortunately, a few really helpful posts in this thread were lost with d2dhanover's account being deleted. Some info provided that was really helpful and is no longer in this thread was some info on the plug for the existing factory fog wire harness tucked under the bumper shackle. It has an existing cap/plug end that is being used to keep the end water poof, and it can be re-used to connect the fog light to the factory harness. Looks like this:

Ballinger Motor Sports carries the parts (male pins and seals) needed to convert the existing cap into a usable water proof connection.

https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/a...search_in_description=1&keywords=+CONN-100986

The males pins are: CONN-100986
https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/product_info.php/products_id/4568

The seals are: CONN-56057
https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/product_info.php/products_id/486

1645294805449.png

I have the pins and the seals, but can't seem to get the connector together.

Is there a specific crimper I should use? Is there an insertion/extraction tool that works with these?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

I bought a switch pack with the single fog button to retrofit my BD but ended up upgrading to a BL. If anyone is looking for a switch send me a PM. $50 shipped.

Are you just planning on using the Aux switches instead? Just curious.

My new BL came with the capable bumper with fogs. So it already has this switch setup.

Can anyone with a 2022 Black Diamond + Modular Bumper confirm whether there is wiring from factory in the bumper? Early models from 2021 don't - which I documented thoroughly early in this thread - but, I am wondering if now that capable bumper is standard equipment that this is no longer an issue.

I would love to get the part numbers for the wiring from the bumper all the way up to C203 (I believe it's two parts/harnesses). Now that the dust has settled a bit on parts inventory - I wonder if these are available now. @flip - can you help?

I think it was confirmed you needed high or lux package to have the harness.

That’s due to the sensors - but, you can have lower packages and have factory fog lights. Same harnesses.

Sorry, can't read 53 pages, but during all the discussion this topic, did anyone figure out the amperage of the factory fog light circuit? I'm probably going to have to replace my factory round lights, with aftermarket square but Don't want to overload the circuit.

(I don't have my Bronco yet, so I can't just test for myself)

The Ford lights draw about 20watts each... X2 = 40watts 40/12 = About 3.33 Amps

C203 is here...and part of harness 14A290 which is the purple assembly in the above pic.

Closest you may be able to get the smaller sections is from C192 is the 14290 but that harness shows it's for the grille shudders. Probably going to be easier (and cheaper) to just add terminals to C203 out to the fogs.
