It will bring Warthog to a whole new level of performance!

I just talked to ford performance (again) my rep was able to get a msg to the bronco product manager through a chat group. His response regarding the tune although officially uncommitted was "we're working on lots of cool things wink,wink"

Even though I'd love to have a solid release date, I think this is an encouraging response.

I'd assume with the 2024 running the same engine that Ford would be more invested in bring the Performance Tune to the market. Bummed to not see any new traction on this.

Just talked to ford performance and they told me unofficially that Ford is still on the fence if they want to release a tune for the Braptor. Apparently they haven't made a decision yet but are not sure if they want to go through all the work, testing and CARB approval.

If you're like me and would like to see one, call Ford performance and let them know, not sure if anything anyone says makes ANY difference but it can't hurt....

Is rated at 440ft-lbs, which is what the braptor already makes.

I would love to see them release a tune and confirm that ford is good with more than that number going through that trans.

Here is some info from the FPT dyno'd using the Explorer ST. Uses the same motor and transmission.

Run 1: STOCK = 324 HP & 374 TQ
Run 2: FPT w/93 = 362 HP & 414 TQ
Run 3: FPT w/E30= 384 HP & 430 TQ

This has already been addressed with a wink-wink, nod-nod by Ford. They gave encryption keys to Whipple for them to do a real PCM tune and it makes way more than 440 ft lb. IIRC, Whipple said that if doesn't produce the peak torque at a rpm vulnerable for the trans.

I'm a parts manager @ a Ford store and talked to our Ford Accessory rep a few weeks ago after taking delivery of my 24 Braptor. He stated with all the hoops the OE's need to jump through with compliances and to be able to piggyback with factory warranties it has been pushed into Q2. No specific answers on what part of Q2 but lets all hope for sooner than later.
