Frozen

Two days in a row now I've tried to leave u driveway and my steering is literally frozen. It is in the teens so I know it's cold but this shouldn't happen!! I had to warm up my vehicle for almost an hour to get movement.. thoughts?

Look for tears in your tie rod boots. Water may have entered inside the rack and froze, just a guess.

I just watched this Youtube video about this. Do you have any aftermarket items? his problem was with the boots.

His problem was not securing the boot to the tie rod properly the first time. The second time it happened he was definitely frustrated.

Thanks for the input. I'm not ROFL because I did find a tear in the boot and after my water crossing adventure last weekend I'm betting that it IS full of frozen water!
