I’ve experienced frozen windows, it can happen on any vehicle left outside in certain conditions.

Ever go to an auto parts store and see a product for frozen door locks?

Frozen doors/windows is a thing.

How to deal with it?
Remote start your car and let it warm up, which is something you are supposed to do with any ICE when it’s that cold.

I haven't noticed any issues, but thats something to watch for us in the colder climates.

Not really. It's better to start driving as soon as the idle drops, which takes like 15 seconds.

I feel like if it opened without issue it would also close without an issue. That is a very easy thing for me to say since it isn't my car. I'd probably be afraid to force it if it was mine.

Water can get into wherever it wants. When it freezes it can cause issues like this.

sounds like there's a lot of new car owners getting broncos. OMG ice froze on my car. how do i stop my car from getting dirty all over? why does my car make noise? if i drive really fast or if there is a lot of wind, the car will make wind noises and the seals are staying at 100mph wind speeds.

Meh, I park outside and the windows worked fine in our last cold snap where it was anywhere from -28 to -40 for over a week. The last couple days, we've had freezing rain and sub zero temperatures overnight. Windows still opened like they were supposed too.

I think this is more common on frameless windows. in my car when the windows freeze it has a "failsafe" that you have to reset for the windows to work again.
