Has anyone tried the trail maps yet?

I would like to know who supplies the maps to Ford and what areas do they cover? Do they work off of cellular or are they downloaded to the head unit?

It's not out. IT come out in the fall. I'm curious how this would do against onxmaps.

Looks like AccuTerra topographical maps from Neotreks, according to Motortrend.

I have OnX Offroad on my phone/iPad, but that doesn't work with Apple CarPlay.

It'll be interesting to try the Ford maps to compare.

I use a Garmin in one SxS and Backcountry Navigator in the other. Garmin has better software than BCN as it has crashed a couple time. Having it built into the screen would be handy....... and no tablet for some jerk to steal...

Why the hell can't OnX just get an App for apple car play and android auto to display on the big screens. One less thing for Ford to worry about and far better performance.

I've been using Gaia on my iphone for my sxs and it will work with apple carplay(allready loaded onto my Bronco,can't wait to try it out)
