Before the Bronco reveal, I planned on driving my current vehicle until it died. Once the 6G was announced, I said I'm getting one asap. No other vehicle would have swayed me.

Tegridy! With loyalty, ya get tegridy.I understand some of you older folks being nostalgic for the bronco, but I don't understand brand loyalty.
What do you gain as a consumer being loyal to a brand? Hell I am a ford stock holder and if another company has something that fits me needs or wants better I am going with that other company.
So to answer the question, it's not important to me at all.
Wait, Ford is giving out weed to loyal customers ?Tegridy! With loyalty, ya get tegridy.
To me its just that euro cars look too expensive, asian cars look flimsy, slavic cars are a facepalm, gms are just too backwards, and chryslers feel like they will cost me later.
Im just diehard loyal to ford because they have never disagreed with me on any real level. That and the first vehicle I owned, an econoline died at 333,000 miles. But it lasted 3000 miles from San Diego to Ohio after I totalled it in Cali.
Brand loyalty is a funny thing and can be for so many reasons. For me its ingrained from my family. At work I deal with companies and fleets of 300+ vehicles, you find out a lot about every brand when they are worked to their extremes. Fords have always held up better on the North slope of Alaska in the harshest conditions. Add in that I've always had what I consider good luck with all my Fords (all used) even knowing some have their pitfalls (3 transmissions in my now totaled '96 Explorer). I also get a huge sentimental attachment to vehicles and keep them forever. It's much more emotional than facts and figures for me. The Bronco will be my first brand new vehicle ever and with that comes its own load of emotions. Had Chevy came out with a true Blazer I wouldn't have ever thought of buying it because GM just doesn't float my boat. That said I own a Chrysler that has been amazing and I love it, but if it hadn't been my Grandmothers car previous I probably wouldn't feel the way I do for the car.I get continuing to buy a brand because you've had good experiences, I don't see that as loyalty , I see it as trust. let me ask you this, say your next two fords are absolutely nightmares in quality and performance, would you continue to buy fords?
If a brand came out with a Bronco-like vehicle and it was exactly what the Bronco is going to be: removable top and doors, styling, features, tech, drivetrain; I'd be interested. How important is it to you that this is a Ford product? If the Bronco were released exactly as is (same product, same price) by another manufacturer like Toyota, Nissan, or Jeep would you still be as interested?
Exactly. Priority builds are based on dealer relations. Ford isn't doing anything for anyone with a Ford tattoo and a garage full of F-150s, nor does any car manufacturer.Means absolutely nothing to me...I reserve my loyalty for family and friends.
