More of a functionality difference to me. The Tacoma’s powertrain is glitchy, very little head room, and the rear seats have no legroom at all. Otherwise it’s a nice truck with the additions of a power drivers seat, revised shifting points, led headlights, and TSS.

I said it was better looking. That is all. Lol

I canceled my day 2 preorder in December. Citing similar complaints as most between the lack of communication/concrete information. I'll come back in a few years when the COVID bugs work out & most likely purchase a used 2022. To be honest, I really couldn't justify the 50k I was about to drop on the bronco I wanted & opted for a titan xd with the 100k warranty for 20k less.

Tacoma looks like dogshit, probably the ugliest midsized truck available. The Tundra is also an ugly truck. The only thing Toyota has is reliability, every single vehicle they currently offer looks awful.

I think the Tacoma looks fine, it’s just boring because it’s everywhere and everyone makes them look the same. I always like something that isn’t so common. That’s why I like the Bronco, vs a Wrangler. Can’t go a mile without seeing a Wrangler.

I think Nissan did a great job on the frontier. Looking forward to seeing more reviews on it. I always like a good underdog story.

The Broco Sport is just so cute. Bronco 2 Dr looks ornery. Good thing I like ornery.

The new front end and 9 speed transmission helps it a lot. The RL has great payload, is wide for a midsize, versatile back seats, and tows 5k. However, the RL still has too little ground clearance (7.64”) to have much use on trails with deep ruts or average sized rocks for those that get off the beaten path to access their fun spots. You really can’t lift it more than 1.5” without altering the geometry, and the largest tire you can get is 265/60/18. So you are pretty much stuck with how it is configured. Plus you have to add front and rear skid plates.

The 4wd 24/7 youtubers have a DMax full time on their videos. 31" tires and that thing does REALLY well with the other purpose built trucks. It is Aussie spec but would figure it to be close. You folks have done more research than I though.

I cancelled my fe on the 19th. After driving a Tesla for 16 months, the thought of paying for gas just doesn’t interest me. I put a deposit on a cyber truck instead. Love the bronco though. It’s going to be an amazing car for those that utilize its capability.
