Been a long road getting this project completed, changes, work travel, parts orders etc. Finally got it all done, but I have to say I am extremely disappointed with ARB - their stainless braided hoses SUCK, I've had to swap out 3 of them because they were all leaking. I spent alot of time and effort on getting this install exactly the way I wanted, painstaking detail on how I wanted the compressor/tank and air horn to function using 2 relays and an Aux switch to a make it as stealthy and as clean as possible, even managed to do it all with minimum amount of drilling and NO cutting into any factory harnesses.
Here's my build pics - basically an ARB twin, with a Ridetech aluminum 2 gallon tank, air/water separating filter on the tank inlet, comes out to to a T and branches off to a Hadley Big Bully air horn on one leg and to a pressure regulator on the other to knock it down to 90psi for an air chuck and air tools. Normal operation with Aux 5 off is compressor ON and Air Horns active, switch Aux 5 to on and air system shuts down and horns revert back to factory. Made some custom brackets, fab work on some non custom brackets and custom wiring on a piece of black HDPE. @DV8offroad
I also used Forscan to change the powerpoint timeout so that my compressor doesn't run excessively given the leaks...if I can get that all sorted I may change it back. (did a few other updates while I was in there also - disabled double honk and enabled global close.
and yes I know i have issues
