Jeep is copying Fords homework

I ordered a 392 wrangler on 7/29. It was built the week of 11/15 and has been sitting ever since. After a quick call to Jeep wave with 0 information I ended up with this.

Wonder what’s up with that. I ordered after you and I’ve had my truck for 2 months already.

Right? Mine was a month from order to delivery, it was wild.

With the high-energy-cost-related shutdowns of foundaries, aluminum smelters and other manufacturing plants throughout Europe and China, expect delays to get longer before they get better. Everyone should be thankful they’re getting their vehicles regardless of the manufacturer, and regardless of how frustratingly long the delays have been. My .02

FWIW, I waited 15 months and had 7 rescheduled build dates before mine arrived on the 17th.

The XR and 392 delayed it quite a bit. I’ve seen regular 392 wranglers take 5 weeks. If you guys thought ford did shit back asswords Jeep takes the cake. I think they schedule by commodities and region. I’ve seen exact same builds ordered months after mine get built and delivered.
