I know this is old but did the plugs work without issues in the factory harness?

Sweet. I don't want to do a whole overhaul on the sound syst just yet. This looks like a pretty good hold over till I'm read to do that lol

has anyone tried the C2-400X in the front and rears for fit?

I was looking at these instead of the C1's

$100. Yikes! I guess there is a market for that until Metra gets around to making a better adapter. Why Ford bothers to (ever) change these adapters is beyond me.

This is my audio upgrade. I went with a powered sub so there's no need to install an amp.

The c1-650 is that the component set? Did you just not install the tweeters?

Unfortunately they are not. I went to install the speakers today and it is a different connection than the fancy Ford one. Looks similar, but not the same.

Question ... why are plug and play harnesses needed? Are you really going to put the stock speakers back in it? Can't you just cut far enough down the factory harness to splice it back together?

I think some people value the ability to return to stock easily if needed.

No idea what is going on with the seller on Amazon that results in a “banned vendor” but you should be able to search for “ 2021+ Ford Bronco Speaker Wiring Harness Adapter” and find them. Should be from Hoel Audio or something like that.
