Jtop Bimini shade installed

I just got my Jtopsusa Bimini shade and installed it last week. By myself.
This is a game changer!!
I love, love, love it!!!
My favorite accessory by far.
I have the soft top and MGV seats. Not too worried about rain as I can always pull over and close the top in a jiffy. Mine was a custom order with a photo I submitted. They did an awesome job with it. I am not sponsored or endorsed by them but you’ll see my photos on their website. The quality of the product was what sold me in the first place and their customer service is just as equal. They are a hard working company. They really listen to their customers and appreciate their input. This is a game changer for me as I use this for my mobile business. The sun beating down on me a couple of times was ok and I have a great tan now but burning the tops of my eye balls was not good. Or forgetting to put something on the seat to keep it from melting my legs. I haven’t had any of those issues since the install. Summer is going to be fun!

I like the American flag ones but Im anal related to flag protocol. When looking at the top, I view the truck vertically, and therefore, wish the field of stars was over the driver seat (las if the flag was being flown like at the Olympics medal ceremony). The top has the field of stars over the front passenger seat. Ridiculous complaint. Yes, probably so.

I would have to agree with you on the placement. Drivers side rules in my book. I thought I saw a posting where you get to chose the direction. Worth checking out. I hope your BRONCO surprises you soon. It’s worth the wait.

How difficult is it to remove the portion above the windshield when you want to reinstall the soft top? I have one from a different company and it's a little annoying.

It’s not difficult at all. I have a couple pictures
Probably takes me about 90 seconds to do.

You just fold the front strip back and lock the soft top into place. There is nothing to remove.

Did you change the design of these? I just installed a soft top version and the hooks go over the top of the hard plastic pieces. I have to unhook (and untension) the front end in order to fold them back and now it sags in the middle.

No change in design.
Don’t fold the front back more than a couple of inches. There may be a little sag but it’s very slight.
fold up your visors and you should be good to go.

Hmmm, the OPs photos seem to have the hooks coming from underneath, and are missing the hard plastic, allowing it to easily fold back without unhooking. I don't see how this is the same design at all. On mine, the hooks go over the top of the hard plastics and I am having to unhook and remove a couple inches of Velcro to get it to fold back. Just want to make sure I am doing this right.

The design with the hooks on the bottom was changed about 2 years ago. Putting the hooks on top of the strip created better aerodynamics.

Looking at the pics the top needs to be shifted forward more. The nylon edge needs to be tucked into the windshield channel a bit more.
To release the hooks push them forward rather than trying to lift them. When pushed forward they will pop open.

I added two Velcro straps to the front edge of the Bimini top. They tie down the plastic flap to the striker plates. Before I made this modification, it would flap and make noise at high speeds. The straps solved that issue.

I also sewed a Ford patch on top of the Jtops logo and added a Bronco patch on the back to make the sunshade look like an OEM accessory.

It's one of the best accessories I've purchased for my Bronco. I LOVE this Bimini top!
