Thanks to a stomach bug and copious amounts of Pepto 😳, I was able to take the truck out of commission the last couple days and finally install the extreme clearance kit body mounts.

These really clean up the chassis behind the front bumper, and open up a world of protected space for the reservoirs.

My stomach and my neck said "enough fun" for tonight, so the last 4 holes to mount the reservoir clamps will have to wait until tomorrow.

All that's left is to trim the fender liners and decide if I'm going to put a hose clamp on the lines to anchor them to the frame.

As you can see, there's nothing between the bottom of the bumper and the wheel, so there's that little bit extra approach clearance for rocks.

Finally got my 37’s mounted last night and took measurements today. If I’ve got time this weekend, I’ll put it on the lift and adjust the fronts to level it up with the rear.

All these king shocks must be set differently from the manufacturer
Mine base sas manual
Before
Rear
Before 41.5. After 43.5
Front 39.5 after 43.5

currently sits level
But will probably have to raise the rear after the tire carrier and rear tire go back on.

I bolted through the core support. There's an opening right above where the clamps are, so I was able to drop the screws in from above and tighten.

Were I to do it again, I'd put thread-certs into the core support and use an intermediate mounting plate to bolt the clamps onto and then bolt to the truck. There's not much room to swing a wrench and it's down in a hole.

Came out nice
Thanks!

While I was at it, I started working on my own hidden winch mount, but discovered I need a few more chunks of steel first. I also corrected the odd angle the front bumper was sitting, so it was pretty productive despite not hitting all my goals.

Nice ride! Are those Baja LP6’s on the front bumper? Got a set I need to install but haven’t had the time lately to get to it.

I increased the preload on my fronts from 0 threads (as delivered) to 4-5 threads (5 full turns) after I took those pics. It raised the front 1” and was level. Then I realized I didn’t have my spare mounted……. So now it sits slightly front-high. Need to get back in the shop and level it out when I’ve got some time. Pic below.

Also, I don’t know about anyone else, but the passenger side front shock on mine can’t be adjusted without taking it off the truck unless you’ve got a couple of different sizes of short spanner wrenches. The remote res fitting gets in the way of inserting the adjuster bar into the collar after a half turn…..

Just throwing that out there in case somebody else reads this before they go to adjust theirs and runs into the same problem.

I have a set of the Camburg Non-Adjustable lower links. Yet to install them due to the rear passenger bolt issue.

Poly Performance is about to release theirs. Adjustable length.

I installed a set of the Camburg lowers when i installed the Kings.

Is the issue you mentioned related to the difficulty removing the upper passenger bolt or is there something else? I removed the nut, slid the bolt over, then cut the head off with a recip saw. As long as you’re patient it’s not too bad.
