A manual transmission is the ultimate anti theft system against millennial car thieves. They are not smart enough to to deal with three pedals.
On the other hand, a manual makes it easier to roll onto a trailer for those who prefer to do their thieving that way. ?

Now you turned it into a committee requirement For multiple people, and big truck to pull a trailer, and a trailer. Ok, you win.

Nobody can answer that question for you.

I can tell you that the 7spd is the only "new" major mechanical part offered on the Bronco. All engines, the 10spd, axles, etc have been used on other platforms for years.

And the last "new" manual Getrag made in China that Ford used didn't turn out so hot.
To clarify this topic into mud;

-The Mustang 6M is made in China.

-Both Getrag factories in China and the UK list the new 7M as transmissions that they can make.

-Neither Getrag or Ford has said where these all-new 7Ms are coming from.

That's encouraging. I was unaware that they "may" be made in the UK.

Only after learning it. Plentry of people that have never bothered to learn it. Even gold wing motorcycles don’t have a clutch lever now. Most military vehicles are automatic transmissions now. It’s a rare skill to learn now a days.
