Yeah I know that, I meant why comment on this post with such obvious MIC hatred. It’s an optional upgrade on many trims, he doesn’t need the MIC to to get a Bronco.
Thanks for responding as a professional. You do nice work. Would love to see a photo when you start painting MIC tops, although I wonder if the paint holds up with the constant install/removal?Lol, thanks, I've done it a couple hundred times in my time.
A few dozen to broken Jeep tops.
Never to a MIC, but the process should be the same.
As long as you get good mechanical adhesion on everything, it should be trouble-free.
The Corvette world calls this the FRC, or Flying Roof Club. Congrats on being the founding Bronco FRC member!
Itll buff outOUCH! Not going to be easy to repair
So hard to tell. That Area-51 Blue changes shades so much depending on lighting.Sorry for the top.
I can’t help but notice your MIC looks super light colored. I thought they were darker, but yours definitely looks closer to the preproduction models, weird.
Doh!I joined that club in 2005! lmao
It counts! Welcome to the club!Does losing an aluminum truck cap count? It went about 20 feet up in the air. Floated down and slid to a stop.
Yes. Kirker Hot Rod Black Satin Single stage. Is that a paint coating over plastic/fiberglass?
Sorry to hear about the mishap. I have a soft top and after a couple of garage door incidents were posted, i made a magnetic "feeler"/reminder that I put up when the top is in the 1/2 down position. A $10 antenna and a $4 magnet. For the latch (hard and soft top issue), maybe a aviation type reminder would work.Looks like I need a systems checklist for startup!
This needs to be a "Install Before Flight" instead I think lolSorry to hear about the mishap.
