Don't bother.Go back, take a picture of the front edge of the rear glass section where it meets the side glass section. You have pictures of the side glass section which have always been a nice edge, where as the rear section has had the raw edge.
All this conjecture. Read the above quote from one of only a few here we can actually trust. If he thinks its not a 2.0. I'm going with that. This doesn't match what I know to be the 2.0 top - there is still exposed core on the downward-facing edges on the clamshell and errant overspray of the black sealant used to coat the unfinished edges in the first version.
What makes us think this is the new top?
Im pretty sure this has been spoken to, at length, about the fact that gap exists to accommodate roof rail installation.
Ya'll cynical as fuck, I swear.
How about the fact the OP built MIC 1.0 tops at Webasto for Ford? I think he knows what he's talking about.......All this conjecture. Read the above quote from one of only a few here we can actually trust. If he thinks its not a 2.0. I'm going with that.
The dealership is 30mins from Map.Don't bother.
Highly doubtful this is 2.0 at all. The idea that it could be seems to be based on a dealer assumption and the fact that it was just delivered. No telling how long it was in transit, and it's a dealer mannequin anyway. No reason they couldn't continue to ship the MIC 1.0 on those, especially since they weren't expecting 2.0 to be ready until October originally.
Maybe yeah. But my money is on premier. How about the fact the OP built MIC 1.0 tops at Webasto for Ford? I think he knows what he's talking about.......
Now we are talkin' !!!! Looks sharp! Here's pics on each of the seams on the 2.0 top at my local dealership.
