So about 5 months ago, my Braptor got totaled when a driver pulled out in front of me without looking.

I never removed it from my FordPass account and could see that it was at a scrap yard a few cities away.

recently, I started getting ford pass updates from it and decided to take a look. It appears that someone bought it from the scrapyard and it has journeyed all the way from Georgia to Mexico to find a new life.

Wow, that's crazy! I found my previous Lexus to now be in Thailand this same way. Guy that bought it from me totalled it & was auctioned off at copart.

Are you back in another raptor?

I can believe it. Without a hint of being racist, Mexicans can fix anything, and they’ve told me that throughout Baja.

How was it totaled? Bent frame? Structural stuff?

Right... if anyone can a Mexi Can. No doubt that it was considerably less expensive to fix south of the boarder.

I bet it has less todo with expense and more to do with road worthy regulations if it is in fact returned to the road. Since it is a Braptor, they may just make it operational to run strict off road.

Set up a repetitive start time. 4am every day it starts. lol
Yeah, it would be so tempting to just mess with the new owner but I wouldn't want anyone messing with my car like that though so common decency would win out and I would just delete it from my app.

But if I sold the car to one of my friends, I would definitely be messing with them. :p

No.... A the time there werent many around me that didnt have additional $10k mark-ups so I settled into an F150 Raptor...

Now that prices are settling, I am beginning to look at Broncos again.

The Frame was bent, but minor, and could have been repaired. I needed an entire front suspension and some body work.
It was about $37K in damages, but mostly only because it was a Braptor.

It would not have been totaled if Ford hadnt been on strike and if parts were easily available.

More likely insurance companies that are to quick to total stuff that can be fixed.
