Yes, super subjective I know, but just curious if anyone else has been torn specifically between Iconic Silver and Eruption Green? And yes, opposite ends of the spectrum, I know!

I have great offers on two leftover 2023 Wildtrak editions, just can't decide even after seeing both in person. Would be getting matte/stealth ppf on either, which I think would make the Eruption Green even more unique. I just worry that after a year or two, would I start to think it's TOO green (has this happened to anyone here)? Just from reading some older threads, seems like Iconic Silver doesn't get a lot of love around here, but I think it works especially well on the Wildtrak with all the contrasting black bits.

Happy to hear any and all thoughts! Thanks.

Both are great. As you say, lots of contrast with the silver yet the sparkle of the green in the sun is also very nice. Only you can truly decide what you like best.

I was the wild child. Went from a sublime green 1320 Challenger to a silver Badlands. There was also an eruption green on the table but I didnā€™t care for the shade, although Iā€™ve warmed up to it a bit since then. Green and the specific shade is a love/hate thing IMO.

I wasnā€™t targeting silver but glad I ended up with it. I donā€™t think it always photos as great as other colors but it has a richness and depth in the metallic part that your eye catches in-person that I really like.

One thing I noticed when I was shopping is the black of the soft top provides an even nicer contrast. Near identical Badlands that was available when I bought mine.

Eruption Green hands down.

Black, white, and silver suck.

Love them both! The matt rap will make the green look like ā€œarmy greenā€ and remove the ā€œflip or sparkleā€ from both of courseā€¦

You're not off base about green. Leastways there was a period in the 90s when green was a thing ... until it wasn't. Later I bought a used 1999 green Ford Escort and everyone knew what era it was from, lol.

That said, I like the Eruption Green on a Bronco, probably more so when not in direct sun. Normally I don't like silver, but I saw a 2-door last summer at a fishing lake in Iconic Silver, and it also looked good.

Velocity Blue or Race Red (if you can handle the retina burn in direct sun) FTW though. :)

Iā€™d choose silver, this is coming from someone that drove a forest green TJ for 10 years during my youth. I loved it at first but as the years went on it felt out of date.

OP, you make some good points on the Silver but I would go green.
