The whole point of this thread is that he has not received a VIN and his Ford.com profile shows no updates since placing his order, but his dealer said it turns out it was built and is arriving.
I can't even imagine how many times I've tracked mine on both the Ford and B6G trackers. Probably several hundred times (8-10 times per day) since my build email in May 2021, not to mention calling Ford 800 # a couple times per week.
I don't know, we have been seeing an average of 19 days from MAP to delivery here in DFW so add another day to get down to San Antonio (its only 5 hours away). People have been reporting their Broncos disappearing after built status a lot longer than 3 weeks ago. Then there was the recent report of a dealership telling a guy that his Bronco was being shipped back to MAP because of the top. Curious to see how this all plays out for OP.
Neither Ford nor his dealer told him he had a vin. The dealer may not have known either. You may inquire hourly and if they give you nothing you are out of luck.Congrats - That’s exciting!
So they didn’t give you any info and it just showed up? Weird. I’m probably more surprised you didn’t inquire with them weekly on the status of your order. Or is that just something I do?
He reserved 7/14/20 which to me is the first day as 7/13 reservations were only 4 hours long. He misspoke on order/reservation.
If no one gives you a vin, how would you track it?
Can you track it without the vin? Sounds like the dealer did not have it either.
That looks like my built , sorry they sent it to the wrong dealerI check online nearly every week. and this is all it has ever shown after i went into dealer to finalize build. contacted my dealer multiple times and in his system he said it showed exactly what i ordered and was good to go. i didnt want to keep calling and pestering without anything to show on the ford website.
Quite confusing. Since it's my exact build and my reservation was at 2am CT on the same day, & there are 10 or more 2 doors ahead of me at my dealership. It may come down to his order being closer to the top at his dealership if it shows up...Many of the replies are just as perplexing as the OP having his vehicle show up without ever getting a VIN or build date. Not sure which has left me scratching my head more.
