Yes the Brief Top seems like it could provide some nice protection.

One other idea though, looking at the photo and the fact the Bronco already has the rollbar structure and all, seems like adding some fabric and three back windows, and you'd have a decent full soft top.

Something you could remove and stuff in back, and put on without too much work when needed. Wouldn't necessarily need all the supporting and folding structure that adds to cost and complexity. I'd be down for something like that at the right price, that I could throw on if out and about and rain starts.

Which tonneau cover do you have?

I use the one from Ford, it seals pretty well, kind of clunky with the rear straps but works for me.

Alright, a little more in depth.

Pros:
-- material seems to be very nice. probably needs to stretch a little.
Sad but thats the only positive i can think of

Cons:
-- ZERO instructions. they provide a qr code to go to the instructions on their website.. but guess what. there are none.
-- Hardware appears to be missing for mounting the velcro brackets
-- designed for two cross braces, yet only one provided so has an empty slot
-- Yes it flaps like fuggin crazy, to be expected honestly.
-- no clue where the back two straps are supposed to land with how short they are. thankfully i have molle panels to attach them to.

as much as i want to like the product, if i cant get the little quirks worked out, im pulling it off and returning it. ..

I love my steel bender bumper, and other havoc products, but @HavocOffroad HAS to do better in the documentation department. this blows worse than the bumper "instructions".

assuming you have a hard top, you should have all the necessary hardware needed.. Thankfully mine was prepped for a hard top, otherwise i would be heading to a hardware store.

So, I just received mine. Is it plausible that both the 4 door and 2 door have the same length roll bar area and that they are the same length brief top? Maybe that's why there's two cross bar enclosures, to fit either or? IDK

To some extent yes, but there are still various parts to attach, and the prices seem to have gone up, with 2-door version less available (showing discontinued by some vendors). I'd like a simpler lower cost sort of covering. I have a bunch of black vinyl fabric in the garage that I got free, got an A in sewing class way back in middle school, and have half a mind to try making something myself out of it.

The main thing is how does that leading edge seal is it just weights or double sided velcro there has to be something to keep water from blowing in there when you're driving.

First 8" or so is a heavier section of probably vinyl sewn between the fabric, those two hooks in the center and two screws on both sides.

Oh hell, interstate riding is a headache and a half. This shits going back in the box.. I played with all the straps and even repositioned the crossbar.
