OMG! Dropped my door reinstalling after removal! Damage photos

For those who know, how does it compare to, say, removing and replacing the tailgate on a full size pickup truck? (2D door)

So nobody knows? I mean, these doors can’t be more cumbersome than a tailgate, right?

Yes they are. Especially a 2 door and the angles involved Vs a tailgate

No door bags are a factory option on four doors to store the doors on the vehicle.

Door bags were deleted as a dealer installed option for 22s

Like I said a factory installed option. It’s still in the build and price. $350 dollars.

I haven't got the bags yet, but every time I mess with the doors, I put a package of paper towels or TP from my garage under the door. Just in case.. Bags would be a better solution, but until then...

I am going to try a pool noodle cutting it to place around the bottom edge of the door, maybe a slice at an angle, bit of duct tape to hold the 2 pieces together

You might try pipe insulation from the hardware store. It is already sliced down the side.

I've almost done this a few times. Once I was able to get my foot under as it slipped, that felt great... Some good ideas about pool noodles or a mattress under. (don't have the bags)

Easy off, not great going on. I've reinstalled all 4 doors myself and my arms felt like Jello for like 3 days. Even with 2 people, it's still hard to line up.... Especially when that other person is annoyed that you took the doors off to begin with.

It's still worth it though! It's amazing wide open.
