Report: Ford Performance Tune for Bronco Raptor Arriving Q1 2024

Excited! Waited and was just looking up to see if they decided to make one. Also for those asking, a tune warrantied as high as 100K is good with me. Been loving my Braptor.

It won’t be warrantied up to 100k. It just says they did durability testing up to 100k miles. It’ll likely have the same 3/36k warranty as the normal Bronco ford performance tuner.

I am used to losing (or at least RISK of losing) the factory warranty for any tunes or engine mods. That said, excuse the ignorance, but if someone already has or buys a factory extended warranty, do the FP tunes affect them?

Love the fact, Ford allows something to keep default coverage. That’s a win IMO.

I’m not a huge extended warranty person myself but know many others are the opposite. If you lose that extended coverage, buyers should know so they can make an informed decision.

Really all depends on the situation, but yes it is possible it could affect your extended warranty. Probably very unlikely though.

Why would anyone with the Braptor want the ford tune? Livernois offers much more and they are the ones that ford performance uses for their tune. Also opens up a whole slew of options once the PCM is cracked. Livernois is using Bosch blank PCMs to start hence why you have to take it to them. Thats how the uncracked world works.

I’m in the market from an RS3 annd Audi is actively looking to deny warranty work from tuned vehicles. There are specific situations that the dealer has to connect your car to the mothership for diagnosis. Audi can see if anything has been connected to ECU and will blacklist your car.

That’s what scares me.

Turns out they will let the dealer install their tune, but has to be a ford dealer.

I was reading and decided it was time to ship my raptor to livernois but

I guess I’m placing my order unless someone gives me a better choice?

New awe exhaust, livernois tune and stil want more!
