Honest question. How can they be high quality if they’re paper thin like this? The equally overpriced ford ones at least look sturdy and robust:

It’s the type of material they use. These are a touch over ⅛” thick and more of a hard plastic.
The factory flaps on my superduty are 1/16” thick and more rubbery.. the factory flaps only look thicker due to the 3d style mold.

I had rokblokz on my raptor and they took a beating getting smashed on rocks, yet rebounded and still looked new. A factory flap would still be on the trail.

My dad has a 1993 ranger with mud flaps thin like this that he had installed new, still on the truck performing to this day.
Yeah, I don’t have huge doubts that they will last as I don’t think you need big thick mudflaps, but what justifies this price?

It's the bronco tax, I haven't looked into Rokblokz but believe they're more. And Ford doesn't sell a sas factory boards option. I could've modified but I just paid to be done with it.

I can’t justify reason with the price. I do know that I need coverage to protect the bronco and from my prior purchases through them I know it will be a quality product. All while not looking like a weather tech kilingon warship.

Playing with the clips more, it’s not just the length, but the diameter/thickness of the nut insert side of the clip too.
You could use your own hardware to “make it work”, but it’s best to wait for the correct clip as the nut insert is tapered for a reason (wedges into the flap).

I'd be interested in the size of the hardware I'll need to buy to switch from the quick release screws to the allen head screws. I don't need QD flaps, and don't want some douche stealing them because they come off easily.

For the price of $300., that is unacceptable. Ship them back.

The thumb screws can easily be swapped with a button head hex screw.

To our Bronco owners,
It has recently come to our attention that there may be a slight hardware issue with the Bronco kit, specifically affecting the front flaps. We received a batch of clips for our new Bronco kit and unfortunately, there is a very slight difference in the new clips vs the old clips which is causing there to be some play and a little wiggling on the front flaps. The issues were not present during testing and we truly apologize for the mix-up. We are currently in the process of correcting the issue and will be reaching out to provide solutions for anyone affected. All kits being sent out from this point forward will be corrected. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns, we appreciate your patience, understanding and feedback. If you are experiencing this please email us directly at [email protected].

Thanks
Brook @ Rokblokz
Hi there. You shipped out my order on the same day as your Bronco6g board announcement (approximately 7 hours prior). I am not going to bother installing something that may or may not be affected as that would be a giant waste of my time. Can you provide me with some way of knowing ahead of time whether you have shipped me the bum clips or the working version?

I'm happy with mine and I'm ok that I paid the price I did. They seem to be made of quality material all around and I like the thought and work that went into the mounting solution.

This thread has also taught me to now never discuss two things in a forum... Politics OR Mudflap choices. Lol.

I understand both sides, but I'm good with my purchase and others may not be. At least there are options.

Literally just go back and read the last few posts that explain how to know if you have the right clips.

Literally it's like two pages of b.s. from a bunch of salty dudes on the board talking about how they think prices these days are too expensive, lol. I expect the company to inform me at the prices they are charging. The money pays for good customer service, not me having to do some sort of review process from the past 3 days of posts.

This reminds me of the IAG release of the soft top rear struts. All the Guinea pigs who rushed in to buy a new product are having to deal with new product issues. You can always test during the design process, but nobody tests like an army of customers. Honestly it’s the reason I waited to order a 2022 and never put in an order for a 2021 despite being a day one reservation holder.
Wait what happened with the IAG rear struts? I got them and haven’t had an issue for about 1,000 miles so far.
