Hilariously, I know a person that has refused to wear a seatbelt his entire life. claims he wants to be 'thrown free of the vehicle' if something happens.so we are rewarding stupidity and laziness with a stupid recall? If someone won't wear a seatbelt just because it can be a little difficult to do then let them fly through the windshield when they crash. Lesson learned

Another win for my 2 door, 2.3, early BB. The seatbelt works, the engine doesn't explode, I don't have the hangy down crossmembers, the brakes don't lock up when towed and I got cloth seats, I am blessed and knocking on woodAnother reason why the 2-door is better.

My Mom called them "attack trained seat belts". You know how you sometimes open your door to see if you are actually in a parking spot? Bam! right on the back of the head.At least it's not like the 90's, when we had those STUPID door-mounted seatbelts that you had to sliiiiide under like you were limbo dancing, or the tracks over the window frames that could choke you to death with the shoulder belt if you weren't in the right position when you closed the door!
Yep! I got whacked a couple of times…My Mom called them "attack trained seat belts". You know how you sometimes open your door to see if you are actually in a parking spot? Bam! right on the back of the head.
