They're both from Getrag, the Mustang is the MT82 six-speed and the Bronco will be the MT88 6+C and is not supposed to based on the one from the Mustang. Also I think the new Mustang is already putting out 310 hp on their version of the ecoboost plus it's a 1000 pounds lighter, has a higher center of gravity, etc. Best comparison would probably be the Ranger 2.3 with the 10 speed for handling and overall feel but what's a visit to a Ford dealer without testing a Mustang! Might have to look ahead for one with a manual though.Would driving a base Mustang 2.3 with manual be a good sample of expected feel of clutch and shifter or think set up very differently vs what will be in Bronco?
