If you don't think they care what happens after that, you should ask them how they feel about the 6.0 and 6.4 diesels... and the beating they took on the superduty image and sales because of those engines.Your missing the point-Ford isn't concerned about used car sales since they don't make money on them. The design components that should generally last 150K miles or about 10 years, which is reasonable for someone buying a new car. What happens after that really isn't of much concern to Ford itself.
