Is that rating with the Pak Rax or simply the rack?
That rating is not set in stone, it is projected to increase next week once it is confirmed. The rating for the pak rax is still being worked on. The rating mentioned on the site is for the roof rack alone WITH Pak Rax equipped.

Like we said before, we are looking to see an increase next week once our team confirms via a load software that we are working with. As of now, the stated load rating is a rating we are confident in for our rack.

In order to install the Pak Pax would you need to remove the rear section of the hard top roof to bolt it down or can it be installed without removing the roof?

Awesome question, You will need to remove the rear portion of the hardtop to install our lower bracket that gives the roof rack tons of stability and strength. That bracket can stay on and if you wish to remove the pak rax at any time, you can.

just FYI, the installation of the lower bracket will not affect the geometry or fitment of the hardtop to the rest of the Bronco. It will infact not tough the hardtop at all.

Do you have to take the whole top off or can you just remove the fasteners on one side and slide the mounting bracket under the top then do the other side?

you could try that, but it will be making it harder than it needs to be. Just have a friend come over to help remove the top for 5 mins, share some beers and laughs, and have a good time installing it LOL.

It will definitely help a ton to take the whole top off. It is really easy to put back on and the seals and fitment of the hardtop will not change.

Your video and web description seem to indicate only the "front", drivers area, roof sections are removable. What about the middle, second row seating, section? Can you take it off with the rack on?

Yes you can take that second row/ middle panel out! let's update the site. Thanks for the catch.

How easily can I remove and install pad rax? I want to keep the roof rack constantly but use the pak tax only for extension trips. Can I easily remove it and put it again? How much time usually it takes?

It can be removed on and off at will. Typically 10-20 mins is what we estimate. It is very modular!
