My Bronco arrived at the dealer, so I called Ford and my Private Cash Offer finally showed up. The only issue is that my MY23 Transition Offer is the Column B amount, instead of the Column A amount. Has anyone else experienced this? Can my dealer fix it with Ford?

I have a favor to ask the wider community:

If you had a Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, or Wildtrak on order, and that window sticker was generated after May 12th.... it would be extremely helpful if you could post the Base Price and the Invoice Date (the last 6 digits listed under "Special Order") that is listed on your window sticker.

My gut feeling is Ford is playing with the base price to account for the removal of the cloth seats... and therefore my flowchart needs an update.

Hey look at that... leather is now a "NO CHARGE" option. So yes, need to update the flowchart. FUN.

THANK YOU! You're awesome.

---

I think I'm good on Outer Banks and Wildtrak--but if anyone with a Base or Big Bend got a window sticker recently let me know.

Yep, same thing here. Trying to work through it but doesn't sound super promising yet with the dealer and Ford both saying they see the column B amount.

Hi all,
Several posts mention a Ford manager that would be the most knowledgeable about price protection and could be a source if there was any questions at the dealership. I believe they were referred to District Manager, Ford Inventory Manager and/or Ford Sales & Inventory Specialist. Can anyone clarify what the correct title of the person would be?

Is there any way to identify that person by name for a particular area/region? Maybe even get contact info.

Thanks.

Sales & Inventory Specialist.

You will find that many dealers often refer to those individuals as "Zone Managers", as that was their title prior to Ford's reorganization of the entire department this past August.

They are not public-facing individuals—they are there as resources for your dealer to receive help, not for us to receive help as customers. There is no public listing or directory that we can access from the outside. But your dealer should definitely have the means to contact them or someone else at Ford for assistance if needed.

Thanks. The sales manager at my dealership mentioned he was going to contact his Zone Manager several months back when I was scheduled for production and the VIN was coming up as invalid. Good info to have that these are really the same person to contact.

I really wasn't looking to contact them directly, just to drop their name if price negotiations take a turn for the worse. Makes me look smarter than I really am :)

Still trying to figure out the most recent price increases due to MGV becoming standard.

If anyone with a Base or Big Bend got their window sticker generated after May 24th please let me know.

I need two things (feel free to message me privately). One is the invoice date:

The other is the Base MSRP price:

Thank you!!

The DD MIC top price protection are only for 4-door users who ordered the MIC hard top. If you switched to soft top it does not apply.

Ford did offer a $2500 deal to those who dropped the MIC top, Sasquatch and Lux. But that’s a completely separate program and has nothing to do with price protection. (And therefore I don’t cover it in this post.)

I have a similar optioned WT scheduled to be built, what was your price after PP and the other options?
Based on the chart from this thread I got $59,170. I ordered January of 2022. I used to work at the dealer I ordered it from so I haven't talked to them on pricing yet, however I'm sure they'll honor it all for me.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I should hopefully get built next week and have it within a month. Getting nervous with all the pricing changes from when I ordered in 21 until now. Thanks

THANK YOU RagnarKon for the excellent thread on '23 Model Year Private Transition Offer! I just spoke with Ford Customer Service (Marketing Dept.) for the 1st time today to confirm my expected build date (6/16/23) and she mentioned that I had a "Private Offer from Ford" - Program #38644? Per your decision tree flow chart, (above), my understanding is my March 27, 2023 confirmed order price is protected against the subsequent April 10th mid-year price increase. Since ordering after 3/20/21, I'm at Level B protection amount of $2,595.

Question: I'm assuming my Bronco window sticker (not available yet) will reflect the 4/10/23 price increase and my dealer will either discount sales price (MSRP) by the $2,595 OR I'll have to contact Ford (post purchase) for a check? Planning on waithing until my window sticker is available to compare my DORA to it's MSRP and then contacting my dealer. Any other advice on what I will need to do to insure I'm able to use the Private Offer #3864 from Ford?

Your window sticker will be whatever the Bronco MSRP happens to be at the time the window sticker is generated.

You have two choices for the private offer certificate:
  • Apply it to your Bronco at the time of purchase
  • Wait for Ford to send you a check after your purchase the vehicle (usually arrives within 90 days)
You and your dealer can make the decision about what to do at the time you purchase the vehicle.
