Am I understanding this right? Granger Ford and other dealers have been told what their allocation numbers are, but my dealer in South Florida absolutely refuses to share this info and claims they do not have any information from Ford on 22' allocation numbers. Keep in mind they also would never share info about 21' allocation numbers either. I know I am number 201 in the list, but have no clue how many they are allotted. Is there anywhere else to get this info other than the dealer???
They have 1 month at a minimum. Most likely they won't have a 2022 model year number.

This question has been repeated a lot, so I figured it was time to show as simply as possible where our orders stand in increments, so you can have idea where you stand based upon your timestamp.

Just to recap. We were given an allocation of 11 the first month of 2022 production. So if you estimate 10/month we'd receive 120 Broncos in 2022. If you estimate 20/month, that gets us to 240 for 2022. All times are eastern.

Wow. This sucks for the Granger people, but makes me glad I stayed local instead of driving the 2 hours. Placed my MY'22 order on Saturday. GM said he thought maybe mid-spring (but no guarantees because of the commodities curveballs). Based on these #'s I'd be somewhere between 275-300 on Granger's list.

July 14th and earlier should be fine.

Seriously folks as is usually the case with a high profile vehicle launch this backlog isn't going to last. My guess is by this time next year there will be plenty of Broncos on dealer lots and you won't need or care about a reservation. There will be used ones as well. Remember the P.T Cruiser, Mazda RX8, and others? We are in a time of fast rising gas prices and that is only going to get worse. I could be wrong, production disruptions could play into it as they did this year. Nevertheless I would be surprised if there isn't rows and rows of Broncos by the end of 23.

So being a 8/1 order I'm roughly 300-350th. So 1-3 years away. Hmm, I have some thinking to do..

Thanks for the info Zach!

reservations played 0 factor in 2022 model year allocation.
I am assuming you mean the # of reservations a dealer has, has no factor in how many Broncos Ford is sending to the dealer for the 2022 year. Within the allocations a dealer is getting for 2022 reservation date is still a priority given all build constrainst are equal. For example a 7/14 reservation will be built and sent before a 7/15 with an identical build ordered with the same dealer.

I understand a 10/1 reservation holder at a large dealer with a lot of allocations will get theirs long before a 7/14 at Granger.

Thanks Zach! This is incredibly helpful for decision making. I’m somewhere in the high 60’s low 70’s. Am I understanding correctly that commodity constraints will still affect my place in line up and down? Hard top vs soft top etc?

However, I'm willing to bet that Ford will either cancel remaining reservations or at least remove price protections before all these reservation orders are filled.
Yes, I'm almost betting that will happen too. I mentioned it before on a different thread & was criticized for "making shit up" but the direction Ford has been heading sure points to this as a strong possibility. And -- are we even sure the Bronco will still be offered at all in five-six years? Also I wish Ford would damn well tell us for certain that this is how the allocations are going to play out period - so we know what to do, scramble around looking for another dealer or not. I dearly want to remain Granger!

I wish my small local dealer would tell me my spot in line on their reservation list. They act like it’s top-secret information that cannot be revealed.

@Zach@Granger thanks so much for this information. I let you guys know I wanted to 99 my order with the hope of a MY23. Does that mean I still need to confirm the order config with Sean or Hunter?

No, if you want to 99 just leave it as-is.
